Prisum Healthcare is supporting the construction of the largest child psychiatry hospital in Romania. Together with representatives of the Metropolis Foundation, the City Hall of Sector 4, and the project’s co-sponsors, we were present at the groundbreaking of the country’s first modern pediatric psychiatry clinic, located within the "Prof. Dr. Alexandru Obregia" Hospital.
Initiated by the Metropolis Foundation, the project represents the most substantial philanthropic investment to date in the mental health of children and adolescents in Romania. The estimated value of the project is €16.5 million. The new facility will include modern, safe patient wards, therapy rooms - including those equipped with VR technology - educational and sensory spaces, as well as a dedicated unit for treating substance addiction in adolescents.

Amid a recent doubling in the number of children diagnosed with severe psychiatric disorders, Prisum Healthcare is actively supporting this initiative for the youngest patients.
